I kept something from him...

I met someone online last year, and we really hit it off, he's from the USA and I'm from Canada, he came here to meet me, and now we are making plans to get married, I have kept something from him, and that was stupid on my part, he's 46 and I told him I was too, that I was going to turn 47 this summer, the truth is that I'm going to be 50, but I don't even look 47, he says I look not a day over 40, I take good care of myself... now I am anguished because I will have to tell him sooner or later, and I am afraid of his reaction, I don't know how to go about this... I really need your advice on this one... we love each other a lot and ready to commit to each other!

You gotta bite the bullet and tell him as soon as possible.

Sure you are afraid of his reaction. But that is beside the point.

Tell him. There is no other choice, ultimately.

And the longer you wait the worse it will get.

And I don't just mean his reaction.

Gather your courage, meditate for an hour before you call him, then do it. Do it in the next 24 hours.
